changing location and business
- As from 1st July 2008, we will no longer be operating as ships agents
and will concentrate instead on NES export work. The exception to this is
the October port call for the RMS St Helena where we will still act as
vessel and cargo agents. We have also closed our office in Portland port.

- St Helena transhipment
small parcels service changing
- As from the end of October 2007, Albion Shipping
Services will no longer operate the groupage and small parcels service via
the St Helena transhipment service. Please contact the freight agents,
MacAndrews & Co Ltd for alternative arrangements.

- Albion Shipping Services
appointed agents for Smit Salvage
- We have been appointed as the agents in Portland for
Smit Salvage and their sub-contractors for the work on the MSC Napoli
salvage. We will be handling husbandry, port liaison and other support
services for Smit vessels and also support services for staff based in
Portland and Weymouth.
- New schedule for RMS St
Helena
- The new schedule for the RMS St Helena has been
published and the ship will now make two UK port calls each year. These will
be in Spring (March or April) and Autumn (September or October). See the

- Un-Manifested Cargo and
Small Parcels
- As of 10th April 2005, any cargo or Small Parcels
which are not properly declared at the port of loading will not be shipped
and will either be destroyed or left on the quay depending on the port
security status. in the event of un-manifested cargo or small parcels being
discharged from the vessel, they will not be available for collection unless
all freight, handling and Customs fees due are paid in full. A surcharge may
be levied for this at the cargo agents discretion. See the

- Increased security at UK
Ports

Pease note that security
restrictions are in force at all UK Ports in the wake of terrorist activity
in the UK. We reserve the right to search, open, X-Ray or otherwise
examine any goods delivered for shipment. Access for people bringing
goods will be limited by the security staff at Portland Port, who reserve
the right to refuse admission to the Port.

reflect these changes.
